Spark Lab is a hands-on online programme delivered by the King's Entrepreneurship Institute (KEI) and tailored to King's students who are ready to turn their skills and passions into something of their own.
Who is it for?
Spark Lab is open to all King's students, regardless of faculty, year group, or experience.
Whether you want to freelance your skills, start a content business, offer tutoring or consulting, sell a product, start a clinical practice, or just explore what working for yourself might look like — Spark Lab is for you.
No business experience needed. No idea too early.
What to expect:
Over six weeks starting 15 June, you'll take part in interactive 2-hour weekly workshops, where you'll learn how to:
• Uncover and validate your commercial potential
• Build your brand
• Learn to price your work
• Master your pitch
• Hear from real freelancers and side hustlers who’ve built something from scratch
• Make your business legally and financially official
Workshops run live so you can ask questions, get feedback, and connect with your cohort in real time.
In between sessions, you may be invited to explore topics relevant to your side hustle or address feedback from our experts. By the end of the programme, you'll have the tools you need to reach your goal, and as part of KEI, you'll continue to have access to valuable resources long after it ends.
