Reach and Interview Customers
You’ve worked out what you need to learn about your idea. The next step is speaking to the people who can help you test it.
In the second Idea Factory workshop, we’ll look at how to identify and reach the right potential customers, start conversations with people you do not already know, and run interviews that give you genuinely useful insight.
You’ll learn how to approach customer outreach, improve your chances of getting a response, and structure conversations without leading people towards the answers you want to hear. We’ll also look at what makes a good customer interview and how to get beyond surface-level feedback.
The aim is to help you leave with a clearer approach for finding and speaking to potential customers, so you can start gathering evidence about the problem you’re exploring and the assumptions behind your idea.
Reach and Interview Customers is the second in the Idea Factory workshop series, designed to help King’s students, staff and alumni explore and test their ideas before applications to the programme open in December.
