Turn end-of-term chaos into real-world impact.
This flexible, milestone-based internship is designed for students who want to make sustainability practical—not just theoretical. Over just ~4 hours a week, you’ll tackle a problem every student sees: the huge amount of waste created during move-out season.
You’ll research, design, and pitch smart, scalable solutions that help reusable items (from kitchenware to storage) get into the hands of incoming students instead of going to out sourced recycling centres. Along the way, you’ll build hands-on experience in sustainability, problem-solving, and system design—skills that stand out on any CV.
What you’ll gain:
Real project experience solving a visible campus issue
Practical insight into circular economy and sustainability in action
A tangible project you can showcase to employers
Flexible work that fits around your studies
Make your student experience count—for you and for the next cohort.
The internship begins on 11 May and runs for 6 weeks.
Time commitment: approximately 4 hours per week
Rate of pay: £15.29
