Join Professor Julie Sanders, Dr Sam Irving, Loyiso Mabhena and Jessica Sears to have your questions about research answered by a panel. We will cover areas such as benefits of research for clinical practice, how to get started in research and different ways of gaining research experience, and planning your career in research.

About the panel
- Prof Julie Sanders is Professor of Cardiovascular Care and Deputy Director of King's Clinical Academic Training Office (KCATO). Julie is a cardiovascular nurse specialising in cardiac surgery care.
- Dr Sam Irving is a paediatric respiratory physiologist based at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust, and Associate Director, KCATO. Sam holds a SCPRA award.
- Loyiso Mabhena is a Sonographer and an NIHR INSIGHT alumni. Her master's dissertation in Clinical Ultrasound at King's College London focused on advocating for better patient autonomy.
- Jessica Sears is a Doctoral Clinical Academic Fellow, and mental health nurse. She is currently completing a PhD at King's College London. Her PhD is titled the ACCEPT Study: Understanding and improving people's experiences of disclosing childhood trauma.
