Join us for the Idea Factory 2026/27 Launch to find out how the programme can help you develop and test your idea.
Idea Factory is open to King’s students, staff and alumni. Over the programme, you’ll get practical support to test the thinking behind your idea, speak to potential customers and gather real evidence about whether it is worth pursuing.
At the launch, we’ll talk you through how Idea Factory works, what to expect from this year’s programme and what we’ll be looking for when applications open in December. You’ll also hear from previous Idea Factory founders about what they learned from taking part and where their ideas have gone since.
Following the launch, we’ll run a series of practical online workshops to help you explore and validate your idea before applications open. You’ll learn how to identify the right people to speak to, have useful customer conversations and make sense of what you learn.
Finalists will also have the chance to compete for a share of £9,000 in funding.
