Help protect our planet and support local action!

Meet charities and community partners tackling climate and sustainability challenges, and discover how you can play your part.

About this event:

In celebration of Climate and Sustainability Month, King’s Volunteering is bringing together charities and community partners for a special Climate & Sustainability edition of our Connecting with Charities series.

Join us for Connecting with Charities 2026: Climate & Sustainability, a relaxed, drop-in event where you can meet organisations working on environmental protection, climate action, sustainability, and community resilience.

Whether you are passionate about climate justice, environmental education, conservation, or supporting more sustainable communities, this is your chance to explore how volunteering can help create meaningful change.

You are welcome to drop in at any point between 12:00 and 14:30 to discover opportunities and causes that align with your values and interests.

Why attend:

1. Speak directly with charity and community partners offering climate and sustainability-focused volunteering opportunities

2. Learn how your time, skills, and interests can support local and global environmental action

3. Find roles that fit your passions, availability, and experience

4. Connect with students, staff, and organisations committed to positive climate action
