This opportunity is part of the King's Edge Summer Skills Programme.
This workshop is part of the KAiZEN Collab! AI Showcase & LearnHack - Day 1. Explore the full Day 1 schedule and sign up via King’s Edge. We encourage you to sign up to the full day or can attend just the workshop if you have limited time.
This practical, hands-on workshop introduces participants to building a custom AI tutor grounded in their own course materials, lecture content, revision resources, or assessment guidance. Through guided activities, participants will learn how to structure tutor instructions, organise materials, and design prompts that encourage explanation, feedback, and critical thinking rather than simple answer-giving. The session will also explore how AI can support learning responsibly while remaining mindful of limitations such as hallucinations and over-confidence in outputs.
Suitable for beginners, educators, professional services colleagues, and students interested in teaching, learning, revision, or academic support.
Attendee requirements: A laptop is required. Participants should bring a small selection of course or learning materials they are comfortable using during the session. No prior technical knowledge is needed.
