Ever wondered how Spotify knows what music you might like next? In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll take your first steps into coding with Python, one of the world's most popular programming languages. Through hands-on activities, you'll learn the fundamentals of programming and build your own Spotify-inspired recommendation system, exploring how algorithms can be used to suggest music based on user preferences. Along the way, you'll discover how coding is used to power the apps and digital experiences we use every day. By the end of the session, you'll have built your own recommendation algorithm, gained practical Python skills, and developed the confidence to continue your coding journey.
